Eternal Knowledge is set on the Scottish island of Mull, a place close to the author's heart. Combining his love for Mull with his interest in wildlife, Marcus has created a horror story around a young man's research into a cryptic line in a traditional island song. As he searches for the true meaning behind the verse, he draws his three companions into a living nightmare. Marcus said: "The story is a traditional horror that looks at the question we all ask ourselves – what are we doing here?" He said: "I started around 20 years ago. Trying to get published, I sent pieces off and got the standard rejection slips back, but then Paul Mould got in contact with me after seeing my website."
